Wasatch CAPS Health & Medicine students visited the grand opening of medical device contract manufacturer Biomerics’ new facility in Salt Lake City on Thursday, Oct. 25.
The students were escorted by Wasatch CAPS Health & Medicine mentor, Dr. Steve Stevens, and instructor, Matt Sproul. Notable attendees at the ribbon cutting included: Biomerics community partner and Real Salt Lake owner, Dell Loy Hansen; MIRO Industries, Inc. CEO and Wasatch CAPS client Nate Sargent; U.S. Representatives Mia Love and Chris Stewart; and Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) Executive Director, Val Hale.
